The worth of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations are applied. The item is replaced by another of the same kind however with different bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. However, they do not retain the quality of the original item, and any wasted resources will not be refunded. The survivors can acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests, or purchase them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to change the attribute of a piece equipment, for example increasing its damage. Players can roll their equipment in three attributes that include physical power, magical power and health. The game will display the requirements when you select the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. These include the type of item (either weapon or armor) the tier of the item, the Upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade. If you've fulfilled the conditions for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will be updated to show how close to completing it.
